It is contrindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to the drug. Do not instill a double dose to make up for a missed one. To avoid contamination of the bottle tip, replace the cap after each use and do not touch the eye, finger, or other surface with the bottle tip. Wash your hands thoroughly before and after using the drops.
